Good luck and Have Fun! Full Story Scoresheet Confusion Some captains seem to be confused when it comes to Home and Away teams. We’ve all been there. The rule states: c) Each team will play four two-set doubles matches (for a total of 8 sets) by fielding two doubles pairs for each meet (i.e. at least four players). The pairs switch opponents after the first two matches. d) New players can be substituted in at the switch-over (after two sets/matches), but at no other time. One tip to remember who plays who next is to name each two-person team, at the beginning, as Home 1, Home 2, Away 1 and. Away 2, and tell them to remember. Then just use the scoresheet as your guide. If you have a different player for the last two sets, just insert them into the corresponding Home or Away team on the scoresheet. Bottom line - you should never play more than two sets against any one opponent, regardless of partners.
